It’s been very congested on the approach to the park & ride this morning and a bus has broken down. We have the last few runners to get here and are aiming to get the race underway at 10am.

We are delighted to have 5 Charity Places for the 2014 OXFORD HALF MARATHON

Headway Oxfordshire provides advice, information and practical support to anyone (the individual and family members) affected by brain injury. Support is provided for the individual - and family members - either within our Activity and Rehabilitation Centre at Kennington, Oxford or through our county-wide Outreach Community Support Team.

The charity was started in 1988 by a small group of parents and relatives and situated within the grounds of the Rivermead Rehabilitation Hospital on the Abingdon Road, and is now the only charity to provide this level of practical support for traumatic brain injury, stroke and other neurological conditions.

Run for Headway Oxfordshire

Although affiliated to the national charity – Headway UK – we are an independent charity, relying entirely on our own fundraising. Events such as the Oxford Half Marathon are very important to us

If you’re interested in running the 2014 Oxford Half Marathon and would like to run for Headway Oxfordshire we would love to hear from you. Come and join Team Headway!
