There will be thousands of runners and spectators heading to the centre of Oxford so please allow plenty of time to get to the start!
There will also be a number of road closures and diversions in place, the majority of which will come into force at09.00, so please factor this into your travel plans!

By Car

Parking in Oxford is extremely limited and road closures will be in place so we strongly recommend using our event-specific Park & Ride service for convenient access into the city centre. Tickets MUST be booked in advance. Places are limited and advance parking will close once spaces are full, therefore we advise you book early to secure your parking space. By Train

It is approximately a one mile walk from Oxford train station to the Race Village – signs will be in place to direct you.
Trains will be running to normal Sunday timetables so please check before you travel as there are limited services that arrive into Oxford in time for participants to comfortably get to the race start.

Cycling

If you are planning to cycle please use the bike parking facilities (limited) at the gates to the Race Village and the permanent facilities located across the city. Please note that bikes are left at the owner’s risk.

By Bus

All bus companies will be operating their normal Sunday services but may be subject to diversions due to the road closures in place for the race. There is a good local bus service available and we recommend using these services where possible. Click here for available bus services on race day.

Park & Ride

The event Park & Ride service (pre-booked only) will be operating from Pear Tree, Redbridge, Thornhill and Seacourt sites between 07:00 and 09:00.

Pear Tree – OX2 8JD

Thornhill – OX3 8HA

Redbridge – OX1 4XG

Seacourt – OX2 0HP

Tickets cost £5.00 per car and include 1 bus ticket; additional bus tickets for passengers can also be bought online and are just £1.00.

Buses will drop off close to the Race Village and clear signs will direct runners and spectators onwards.

ROAD CLOSURES

Roads will begin closing from 04.00, with the majority of affected roads closing at 09.00.
Roads will be re-opened as runners complete each section of the route, with the majority of opened by 14.00.
