BATTLE OF THE BANDS IS BACK !

Returning by popular demand

Six local bands playing live sets for the entertainment of competitors and spectators around the half marathon route

A wide mix of live music from talented local bands, carefully selected by our Oxford Half Entertainment Manager (and former race director and co-founder of the event) Dave Box (‘Boxy’) for your entertainment

All bands featured have generously given their time for free, to showcase their talent and support this community event

Competitors will be invited after the race to vote for their favourite band, in our post-race on-line survey. The winning band will receive a £500 CASH PRIZE

• Voice Box Choir - Roger Bannister athletics track, Iffley Road
• Bright Color Vision - Cape of Good Hope pub, The Plain
• Vintage Sons - Head of the River pub, St Aldates
• The Purple Lights - Isis farmhouse pub, Iffley Lock
• The Monday Blues - Kassam Stadium, Grenoble Road
