BBC Radio Oxford
We have exclusively broadcast live coverage of the Oxford Half Marathon since the race launched in 2011 and this year from 9am, we’ll be broadcasting a special show live from the finish line at the Kassam Stadium. We have exclusive access to traffic cameras across Oxfordshire and from 6am on race day we’ll bring you travel news every 15 minutes on 95.2FM, on digital and online at bbc.co.uk/radiooxford.
There will also be reporters along the route so you’ll know where the runners are and when the rolling road closures have started and finished. The best bit is messages of support from your family and friends; tell them to text and tweet us on the day and we’ll read them out. Text 81333 and don’t forget to start your message with the word Oxford or tweet @bbcoxford.
We’re speaking to loads of runners ahead of the race and we’d love to hear from you. Maybe you’ve got a personal connection to the charity you’re running for, or you’ve overcome some difficulties to make it to the start line. Drop us an email to [email protected] and pop ‘Oxford Half’ in the subject line.
